About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join their expanding team, operating entirely remotely. This role is critical in providing in-depth financial insights, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, collaborating with cross-functional leaders across the organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a fully remote environment and is adept at translating complex financial data into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability studies, and scenario modeling.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support new business initiatives, investments, and strategic decisions.
- Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with accounting and operational teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) software.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting, and business operations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
