JMF Associates is seeking a Head of Finance for our esteemed Law Firm , based in North London. This senior leadership role involves delivering strategic financial control, overseeing daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with legislative standards. You will manage the finance strategy, budget, audits, and build key internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Financial Controller within a legal firm, with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles tailored to professional services.

Your proven ability to interpret financial data for non-finance colleagues and your track record in managing financial teams will be essential to success in this role. The Head of Finance supervised a Finance team of 3 transactional staff. Educated to degree level and qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior finance role within a professional services environment Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, auditing, and taxation principles Experience managing teams and developing finance strategies Excellent communication skills and attention to detail This firm offers hybrid working with 3 days per week working from home.
