Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance department, operating entirely remotely. This role is pivotal in managing the company's financial reporting and accounting operations. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and play a key role in financial analysis and process improvement. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
• Oversee and perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, preferably in a senior role .
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
