Cryptocurrency Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Cryptocurrency Compliance Officer to join their expanding operations in Mahikeng . You will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the crypto and blockchain space. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols as they apply to digital assets.

You will play a vital role in maintaining the company's legal and ethical standing, fostering trust with regulators and customers alike. This is a remote-first position, allowing you to work from anywhere.

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs for cryptocurrency operations.
• Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate compliance risks.
• Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report as required.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Stay updated on evolving crypto regulations and advise the company accordingly.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or legal roles, preferably within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry .
• In-depth knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and the digital asset landscape.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
