Chief Financial Officer; CFO

Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team in Port Elizabeth . This critical role involves overseeing all financial operations of the company, including financial planning, risk management, and investor relations. The CFO will be instrumental in guiding the company's financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and driving sustainable growth. This hybrid position offers the ability to balance remote work with essential in-person collaboration at our Port Elizabeth headquarters.

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies and policies to support the company's long-term goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage risk management and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role, such as CFO or VP of Finance.
• Proven expertise in financial planning , analysis, corporate finance, and treasury management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Professional certification such as CA(SA), CFA, or CPA is highly preferred.
