Domestic Tax Manager

Description Kforce's client, a global manufacturing company in Chelmsford, MA, is seeking a Manager of Domestic Tax to join their company. This client offers competitive salary and excellent benefits - 3 days day in office, 2 days working from home. Duties:
* Ensure timely filing of federal, state tax returns
* Review and approve tax returns prepared by team
* Develop and implement tax strategies
* Stay updated on tax regulations and changes
* Conduct research on complex tax issued and provide recommendations to senior management
* Collaborate with tax advisors and domestic controller
* Preparation of the quarterly and year-end uncertain tax position (Fin 48) calculations
* Manage tax audits and communicate with tax authorities Requirements
* Accounting or Finance degree; CPA and MST preferred
* 7+ years of total tax experience in a large corporate tax environment, which may be in industry, Big 4, or combination
* Strong tax knowledge, ASC

* Understanding federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including compliance and planning strategies
* Ability to lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in conducting through tax research and keeping up wit changes in tax legislation
* Strong problem-solving to address tax-related issued
* Excellent technology skills, One Source Tax Provision is a plus
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines with accurate results
