Description:
- Support collection efforts by resolving client payment issues and protecting organizational financial assets.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding accounts to secure timely payments.
- Meet assigned collection quotas and performance targets.
- Review documents, filings, credit histories, and credit reports.
- Collect and process information on existing and prospective customers.
- Process credit applications.
- Follow organizational policies and compliance requirements for credit and collection activities.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments as needed while engaging with clients.
- 3–5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, billing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to meet collection quotas and performance targets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for handling payment concerns and difficult conversations professionally.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, accountable approach focused on resolving outstanding accounts.
- Ability to follow credit, collections, compliance, and documentation procedures.
- Availability for the full 3-month contract period.
- Availability to work in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and provide personal work equipment, including a laptop and headset.
- 100% remote work arrangement.
- 3-month contract opportunity.
