Pricing Analyst – Alaska Airlines, Redmond, USA. Salary: $20/hr minimum educational requirement:
High School. This role supports the company’s goal of sustaining a beloved airline by analyzing and applying pricing strategies to drive revenue and improve customer experience.

• Proficient 1:
  Break down and value a $1B extent of business sectors using advanced analytics and data sources while operating in a high‑velocity environment.
• Proficient 2:
  Use pricing tools, cycles, frameworks and board-level metrics to dissect economic trends and market forces; develop high‑level pricing architectures within the competitive AAG markets; additionally support the assessment and execution of revenue‑generating initiatives (Saver, Premium Class, Top‑of‑the‑line, Dynamic Pricing, etc.) using BI capabilities to visualize, analyze results, and provide revenue‑driving insights.
• Proficient 3:
  Formulate a powerful approach to address complex business challenges; lead in achieving or surpassing unit revenue objectives and KPIs; exercise strong judgement in influencing and communicating pricing decisions across the organization; additionally drive analysis and implementation of revenue‑generating initiatives through BI tools to create dashboards for the pricing team and senior management.

Proficient 1

• Four‑year college education with a concentration in business organization, finance, statistics, science, computer science or related discipline, or 2 years of experience in pricing, analysis or related field if no degree.
• Creative problem‑solving skills with an ability to develop actionable plans and deliver results.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and focus in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alteryx, or Power BI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to extract, interpret, and present large volumes of data in clear, concise manner.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and analytical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Proficient 2

• 2 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, analysis or related field.
• Four‑year college education with a concentration in business organization, finance, statistics, science, computer science or related discipline, or 2 additional years of significant training/experience in lieu of a degree.
• Creative problem‑solving skills with ability to develop balanced action plans and deliver results.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and focus in a high‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Alteryx, or Power BI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to extract, interpret, and present large volumes of data in logical, concise manner.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and analytical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
