About the RoleWe’re looking for a relationship-driven, motivated Wealth Consultant who is passionate about helping people build, protect, and optimize their financial future.
In this role, you’ll work directly with life science founders, biotech executives, physicians, researchers, and emerging industry leaders
, helping them navigate important financial decisions throughout their careers and lives.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, combining financial expertise with empathy, strategic thinking, and exceptional client service. You’ll help clients develop strategies around investments, retirement, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, protection, and long-term wealth preservation.
This is an opportunity to build meaningful, long-term client relationships while working within a specialized and growing financial advisory firm.
What You’ll Do- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the life sciences sector
- Develop personalized financial plans based on each client’s goals, priorities, and stage of life
- Guide clients through investment planning, retirement strategies, risk management, estate considerations, and tax-efficient wealth solutions
- Use Life Science Wealth’s “Science of Wealth” methodology to develop actionable Roadmaps of Success
- Conduct regular financial reviews and proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes
- Explain complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable way
- Collaborate with tax advisors, attorneys, business consultants, and other professionals to provide comprehensive solutions
- Stay current on financial markets, wealth management trends, and developments within the life sciences industry
- Contribute to business development through networking, referrals, and relationship-building
- Deliver a high-touch client experience grounded in trust, professionalism, and integrity
Required Qualifications
- Must live in one of these areas: Boston, NY/NJ, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Raleigh, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in financial planning, wealth management, advisory services, or relationship management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple, relatable way
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively
- Strong commitment to ethical conduct and fiduciary-minded service
- Proficiency with CRM and financial planning software
- CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or another relevant financial industry designation
- Experience working with professionals in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences
- An existing network within the life sciences community
