About the Role  Our client is seeking a skilled and decisive Forex Trader to join their dynamic trading desk in Kimberley . This role involves executing foreign exchange trades, managing currency positions, and contributing to the firm's overall trading strategy. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying trading opportunities, and managing risk effectively to achieve profitable outcomes. This position is ideal for an experienced trader with a keen understanding of global currency markets and a proven ability to perform under pressure within a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities   Execute buy and sell orders in the foreign exchange market based on trading strategies and market analysis.
Monitor global economic news, political developments, and market sentiment that may affect currency prices.
Analyze technical and fundamental data to identify profitable trading opportunities in major and minor currency pairs.
Manage trading positions and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses and protect capital.
Maintain accurate trading records and prepare performance reports.
Collaborate with research teams and senior traders to refine trading strategies and approaches.
Stay current with market developments, trading technologies, and regulatory changes impacting forex trading.
Requirements   Proven experience as a Forex Trader or in a similar trading role within a financial institution.
Strong understanding of currency markets, trading platforms (e.g., Meta Trader), and trading methodologies.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data.
Demonstrated success in managing risk and achieving trading P&L targets.
High degree of discipline, focus, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
