About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Consultant to provide expert advice and solutions to businesses in Port Elizabeth . You will be instrumental in helping clients optimize their financial performance, improve financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and implement robust financial controls. This role demands a deep understanding of corporate finance, risk management, and strategic financial planning. You will work closely with finance departments and executive teams to drive financial discipline and enhance profitability, contributing to sustainable business growth through sound financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Develop and implement strategies for working capital management, cost reduction, and cash flow optimization.
- Advise on financial risk management, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist clients in developing robust FP&A capabilities, including financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by providing financial due diligence and integration services.
- Recommend and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, corporate finance, or financial consulting.
- Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
