  • 8 or more years of federal government pricing experience, including direct experience preparing price/cost volumes for competitive proposals.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and TINA requirements.

  • Experience developing pricing strategy aligned to win themes, competitive positioning, and customer priorities.
  • Experience developing basis of estimates (BOEs) with the solution architect team to justify the price and document any assumptions and risks.
  • Experience applying forward pricing rates and understanding their impact on contract pricing.
  • Prior experience supporting DCAA audits, DCMA reviews, CPSR Reviews and customer fact-finding sessions.
  • Familiarity with contract administration activities, including modifications, funding actions, and subcontract management.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) terms in federal contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end teaming partner and subcontractor pricing intake process for competitive federal proposals, including issuing pricing requests and templates, enforcing partner submission deadlines, reviewing partner cost submissions for completeness and FAR/DFARS compliance, reconciling labor categories and rate structures across multiple partners, and integrating validated partner data into the Valiant cost model.
  • Experience negotiating subcontractor pricing terms, including rates, ceilings, escalation, and labor category mapping, under live proposal timelines.
  • Experience responding to prime contractor pricing data calls when serving as a subcontractor or teaming partner, including interpreting prime-provided templates and instructions, preparing cost inputs in the prime's required format, coordinating internal approvals on rate disclosures and proprietary data, defending rates and assumptions through prime clarification cycles, and meeting prime-imposed deadlines that precede the solicitation due date.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
