Management Accountant

• Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Provide financial analysis for new business initiatives, projects, and investments.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial support and guidance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for executive management and the board.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Part qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or CA(SA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is essential.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
