Remote Financial Controller

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and proactive Remote Financial Controller to lead their finance operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The Financial Controller will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong track record in financial leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance.

You will be a key member of the leadership team, providing critical financial insights and guidance to support the company's growth and strategic objectives. This role is designed for an independent and results-driven finance professional.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow management.
• Identify and implement financial process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to senior management.
• Manage and mentor the finance team (if applicable).
• Conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a controller or similar leadership position.
• Proven experience with financial software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
