Senior Management Consultant - Financial Improvement

Our client, a leading management consultancy, is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Management Consultant with expertise in Financial Performance Improvement. This hybrid role, servicing clients in and around Sandton, Gauteng, ZA , focuses on enhancing profitability, optimizing cost structures, and driving financial discipline within client organizations. You will partner with finance leaders and operational teams to identify and implement strategies that unlock significant financial gains.

• Analyze financial statements, operational data, and business processes to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and working capital optimization.
• Lead financial due diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Advise clients on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A) best practices.
• Drive the implementation of financial transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and process redesign.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards to monitor performance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client finance teams.
• Manage project teams and client relationships in a hybrid work setting.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in financial consulting, corporate finance, or related fields, with a strong focus on performance improvement.
• Proven track record in driving significant financial performance improvements for clients.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), P&L management, and cost accounting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with financial management software and ERP systems is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with client site visits in the Sandton, Gauteng, ZA area.
