Security Investigations Analyst; Banking & Pos

Our client, a prestigious investment bank with a strong presence in the M&A and capital markets advisory space, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Investment Banking Analyst. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining focused in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You will be an integral part of deal teams, providing critical analytical support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising transactions.

Responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials. • Develop complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
• Perform company valuations and market assessments for M&A and capital raising transactions.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial, operational, and market analysis.
• Prepare high-quality client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
• Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and transaction execution.
• Analyze industry trends and identify potential investment or divestment opportunities.
• Assist in the structuring and execution of various financial transactions, including debt and equity offerings.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring efficient workflow within deal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts.
• Stay current with market developments and regulatory changes affecting investment banking.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing client-ready materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating collaboration both in-person and remotely.
