Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a specialized Tax Accountant to join their finance team, operating entirely remotely and supporting their operations near Paarl, Western Cape . This role is critical for ensuring tax compliance across all jurisdictions, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax-related financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax legislation and a proactive approach to managing tax liabilities.

• Prepare and submit all corporate tax returns accurately and on time.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the business on potential impacts.

• Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other relevant tax regulations.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, H.Dip Tax) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on corporate tax.
• Expert knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.
