Financial Compliance Specialist

As a Financial Compliance Specialist, you will collaborate with experienced professionals, oversee complex financial compliance matters, provide guidance to staff, and offer expertise to clients from diverse industries.

Responsibilities Manage and assess intricate financial compliance for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and other entities.

Review and approve compliance paperwork prepared by team members for accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Lead multiple compliance projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

Research and provide practical strategies for complex compliance issues.

Handle compliance audits and engage with regulatory bodies as needed.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and compliance advice.

Effectively delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time.

Mentor and train team members in compliance practices.

Assist with workflow planning in the compliance department.

Stay informed on changing regulations to offer knowledgeable advice to clients and colleagues.

Requirements Active CPA license.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
Master's preferred.

At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial compliance.

Experience working with various types of entities, including C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.

Previous experience supervising or managing compliance professionals.

Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
