We help investors, entrepreneurs, and institutions access energy-backed infrastructure without the complexity of building, operating, or maintaining it themselves.
For investors, we make Bitcoin mining simple, reliable, and transparent through turnkey miner sales, hosting, monitoring, repairs, and fleet management.
For institutions, we develop energy infrastructure for Bitcoin mining and AI/HPC compute.
Simple Mining was ranked #175 on the Inc. 5000 and named the fastest-growing company in Iowa. Today, we operate 10 data centers and host 40,000+ miners across sites powered by a 65%+ renewable energy mix.

You've spent years putting together the deals that build infrastructure. You've built the models, run the lender processes and gotten capital committed, and then handed the finished deal to someone else to own. This is the chance to be the owner.

Simple Mining is building a platform of turnkey AI data centers, and we're looking for the person who lead the capital strategy behind it. We aren’t starting from zero. We already operate large-scale compute sites, with an established, revenue-generating business and a team that knows how to build in the physical world. Now we’re bringing what we know about power, land and operations to the data centers that power AI, the fastest-growing corner of infrastructure.

The opportunity is large, and so is the capital required. You will decide how we fund it.

The capital strategy. Design the capital stack for each data center: construction and project debt, equity, joint ventures and LP structures.

The raise, end to end. Build the model, the story and the materials; run the process with banks, private credit, infrastructure funds and strategic investors; negotiate terms; close.

The relationships. Be the person lenders and investors call. Grow a network that makes every future raise faster and cheaper.

Deal economics. Work with our BD team on lease structures with neocloud and AI customers so every project is financeable.

The finance organization. Oversee accounting and reporting across Simple Mining and the data center business, working with our Head of Finance. Get us ready for institutional capital.

Equity and valuation. Partner on our employee equity plan and the valuation story as the data center business moves into its own parent company.

You'll get to know the founders, the sites and the numbers. You'll meet the capital relationships already in motion, put a financing plan and timeline in front of leadership, and drive the first raise forward. By day 90, the board should see a clear path to funding our first data center.

You have personally led capital raises for capital-intensive infrastructure (data centers, power, utilities, energy or digital infrastructure) and closed them.

You have a network of lenders, investors and LPs who will take your call.

You've likely been a Director or Managing Director in investment banking, an infrastructure investor, or a finance leader at a developer. A prior CFO seat is a plus, not a requirement.

You're fluent in project finance, debt structuring and investor materials, and you can explain a capital stack to anyone.

Bachelor's in finance, economics or accounting required; MBA, CFA or CPA a plus.
