Our client is a bank. They seek an AVP, Internal Audit to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities- Execute full audit life cycles, including risk assessments, planning, testing, documentation, and final reporting
- Apply risk-based audit methodologies and incorporate IT audit procedures covering security, change management, and vendor oversight
- Assess Treasury functions and BSA/AML compliance programs against regulatory expectations and industry standards
- Evaluate internal controls, processes, and operational effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare audit reports detailing scope, findings, risks, and actionable recommendations
- Maintain audit documentation and work papers in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Support internal audit strategy development and execution alongside senior audit leadership
- 5-10 years of systems audit experience
- Financial services industry
- Foreign bank experience is a plus
- Public/private/combo
- CISA required
- CAMS is a plus
