VP, Risk Reporting & Analytics – Liquid Credit

Our client is a global investment manager. They seek a VP, Risk Reporting and Analytics to join their Los Angeles, CA office.

• Calculate and review performance metrics including TWR, IRR, investment multiples, attribution, and risk metrics, resolving data issues and outliers
• Assess portfolio accounting data to support GIPS-compliant composite and performance reporting
• Aggregate portfolio and composite data for RFPs, DDQs, and client requests, including performance, risk, and bond analytics
• Develop technology-enabled reporting solutions and automated dashboards to support investors, investment teams, and business development
• Optimize processes and systems to enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and standardization of team deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional relationships across Data, Investment, Product, Investor Relations, Marketing, Accounting, IT, and Compliance to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Generate standard, recurring, and dynamic reporting for performance and portfolio metrics
• Lead, train, and manage RR&A team members, ensuring clear expectations, feedback, and alignment with organizational goals
• Monitor team performance, integrating insights from data and stakeholder feedback into tools, routines, and processes
• Drive continuous improvement and learning through process optimization, technical skill application, and adoption of data visualization and automation tools

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Risk, accounting, and/or investment performance experience
• Financial Services industry
• Experience calculating performance metrics such as TWR, IRR, and investment multiples
• Fixed income experience
• Excellent communication skills
• CPA preferred
