Recovery Officer

A Recovery Officer post in the Income Recovery Team within Financial Services at Halton Borough Council, which collects sundry debts owed to the council. The work centres on chasing outstanding income and working with colleagues and customers to reach positive outcomes. Based in a busy office, the 37-hour role can move to home working once training is complete, within a small team.

Prior debt recovery experience is not essential, though strong communication skills are.

• Collect and recover outstanding income owed to the Council
• Help the Council maximise the collection of monies due
• Assist with the collection and recovery of sundry debts
