If you're an experienced Financial Crime Investigator fluent in both Spanish and English, and you're looking for an opportunity to join a business that's challenging traditional banking and continuing to grow across Europe, this could be the perfect next step.

Euro London is partnering with an innovative and fast-growing financial services organisation seeking an experienced investigator to join its specialist Financial Crime team.

This is a fully remote, permanent position offering genuine career progression, excellent training and development opportunities, and the chance to play a key role in protecting customers and the business from financial crime.

The role:

Working as part of a specialist Financial Crime function, you will be responsible for investigating complex and high-risk cases, making risk-based decisions, and providing expert guidance on financial crime matters across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting complex financial crime and anti-money laundering investigations on business accounts.
  • Reviewing suspicious activity and recommending Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where appropriate.
  • Assessing high-risk customer onboarding applications and making informed risk-based decisions.
  • Carrying out ongoing due diligence reviews on higher-risk accounts.
  • Identifying emerging financial crime risks and escalating concerns where necessary.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and supporting colleagues across the wider business on financial crime-related matters.
What we're looking for:
  • Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience conducting complex financial crime investigations within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Experience investigating high-risk business customers and making independent risk-based decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations, financial crime risks and best practice across the UK and EU.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while thriving as part of a wider team.
Working hours:

This position is fully remote and offers a range of shift patterns, including some options that involve 1 weekend in 4.

  • Fully remote working within the UK.
  • Competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits package.
  • Dedicated learning and development support, including funding for professional development.
  • The opportunity to join a business that is genuinely transforming the banking experience for its customers.
  • A collaborative and inclusive culture where your expertise is valued and your career development is actively supported.
  • Join a business at an exciting stage of growth and play a key role in its continued success.
Location

This role is fully remote; however, candidates must be based in the UK and have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
