About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Risk Management Specialist to lead their risk assessment and mitigation efforts in Pretoria . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify, analyze, and evaluate potential threats to the organization.
• Develop and implement effective risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Design and oversee the execution of risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Monitor and report on the organization’s risk profile, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices in risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management , preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment methodologies, quantitative analysis, and control implementation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions in Pretoria .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, or PRM are highly desirable.
