As a Tax Director within our Estate & Trust practice, you will make an impact by serving as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, fiduciaries, and other stakeholders navigating complex estate, trust, and gift tax matters.

You will bring deep technical expertise and a hands-on approach to tax compliance, helping clients manage sensitive and often complex tax matters with confidence. Through strong client relationships, technical leadership, and mentorship of developing professionals, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality service while strengthening the capabilities of the Estate & Trust practice.

Candidates residing within commuting distance of a BPM office will be expected to follow a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Provide tax compliance and consulting services to our Estate, Gift, and Trust clients.

Develop and deliver innovative planning ideas that meet or exceed client expectations.

Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of Estate, Trust, and Gift issues.

Work with clients to minimize their tax obligations and best pass assets according to client's wishes.

Supervise tax staff and manage the delivery of tax consulting and compliance services to the client.

Establish relationships with estate attorneys and other advisors serving our clients.

Build and manage client relationships with existing client base.

Build a network of business contacts and establish market relationships to generate new business.

Participate in, and contribute to, market and business activities that are external to the firm while providing direction to, and maintaining, managerial responsibility for a team.

Manage financial performance of practice, including billing, collections, and department budget.

Act as a coach and mentor to other risk assurance professionals.

Requirements:
Licensed CPA and /or attorney
