Arcasa helps lenders turn solar into a mortgage closing tool. Our energy-integrated mortgage product wraps solar financing directly into the loan itself, unlocking forgivable assistance that covers down payment and/or closing costs. Once a mortgage closes, we coordinate a seamless post-close solar installation. We make sustainable home ownership simpler, smarter, and more affordable.

The Solar Mortgage Project Manager is the operational backbone of every Arcasa transaction. From the moment a loan officer submits a file, you own the coordination process end-to-end: qualifying the property, designing a preliminary solar scope, aligning realtors and install functions, guiding borrowers through the experience, and delivering a complete, compliant package to lenders before closing.

This is a process-driven role that sits at the intersection of residential solar, mortgage lending, and customer experience. You'll work with a wide cast of stakeholders (loan officers, realtors, and borrowers) and be responsible for keeping all of them aligned and on schedule.

The Solar Mortgage Project Manager is the pre-closing control tower. No detail missed. No stakeholder left waiting. Everything in place for a compliant, timely close.

• Confirm core property parameters on every new file: structure type, AHJ, utility provider, year built, roof type, HOA, and more
• Review site conditions to identify adders or constraints that may affect system scope or cost
• Introduce the Arcasa product to the realtor and coordinate site survey scheduling between the agents and real estate stakeholders
• Serve as the primary point of contact across loan officers, realtors, and borrowers throughout the pre-close process
• Build preliminary solar layouts based on property data and budget parameters
• Develop a preliminary system scope incorporating the given budget and anticipated adders
• Review completed site survey photos to dial in final scope with confirmed adders
• Flag any scenarios requiring loan officer review before proceeding
• Schedule and lead welcome calls with borrowers to walk them through the solar scope and next steps
• Prepare and send agreements; manage borrower signature process
• Provide all completed documents to the lender and stakeholders to formally kick off the project
• Confirm mortgage close and notify internal operations to initiate post-close installation

• 2-4 years of experience in residential solar operations, project management, or a closely related field
• Familiarity with PV system components, interconnection types, and production modeling
• Comfort working across lending/financing teams, installation partners, and homeowners in a single workflow
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing site photos, constraints, and system parameters
• Clear, professional communicator who can move a lot of people forward without creating confusion
• Process-oriented and organized. You keep timelines tight without needing to be chased

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
