Cryptocurrency Trader​/Analyst

You will be responsible for executing trades, conducting market research, and developing trading strategies to maximize returns. • Execute cryptocurrency trades across various exchanges based on defined strategies.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, and market trends.
• Develop and refine quantitative trading strategies, incorporating technical and fundamental analysis.
• Monitor market news, regulatory developments, and blockchain innovations that may impact asset prices.
• Manage trading risk and portfolio exposure effectively.
• Analyze trading performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and other profitable trading strategies.
• Collaborate with the investment team to contribute to overall strategy in Mossel Bay, Western Cape and beyond.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in cryptocurrency trading, financial analysis, or quantitative trading.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and market microstructure.
• Proficiency in using trading platforms and analytical tools.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, vital for a remote role.
• Familiarity with smart contracts and DeFi protocols is an advantage.
