Senior Collections Specialist

Join a finance team as a Senior Collections Specialist and play an important role in improving cash flow, resolving payment issues, and strengthening customer relationships. This full-time, fully remote assignment will focus on customer outreach, outstanding receivables, payment discrepancy resolution, and timely follow-up on collection commitments.

The assignment is expected to last approximately three months, with potential for extension and possible conversion to a permanent position. The ideal candidate brings business-to-business collections or accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and the communication skills needed to manage payment discussions with professionalism and tact.

• Experience in business-to-business collections or accounts receivable
• Ability to contact customers regarding overdue invoices and follow up on payment commitments
• Experience reviewing accounts receivable aging reports and prioritizing collection activity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, customer-focused approach to customer outreach and issue resolution
• Ability to research payment discrepancies and assist with billing questions or disputes
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and outstanding items
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, management, and internal teams
• Sound judgment when escalating collection issues or accounts requiring additional attention
  
  Ability to begin promptly and commit to the approximately three-month assignment

• Experience using Net Suite for accounts receivable aging reports, reporting, and analytics
• Experience using Salesforce (SFDC)
• Familiarity with Ariba
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Demonstrated success collecting quantified receivables within defined time periods
• Experience resolving conflicts and building effective working relationships with sales and management teams
• Experience working in a temporary, high-volume, or fast-paced finance environment

• Prior experience in business-to-business collections or accounts receivable is preferred.
