Remote Collections Account Specialist

The Account Specialist – MVAR manages medium-risk and delinquent accounts within a regulated financial services environment. You will assess customer circumstances, recommend repayment strategies, and apply loss mitigation procedures. The role also involves processing transactions, documenting account activity, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues accurately.

• Evaluate delinquent and medium-risk accounts for collection opportunities
• Contact customers about payments, account status, and next steps
• Recommend repayment arrangements and financial solutions
• Apply loss mitigation procedures to reduce potential losses
• Maintain accurate customer and account documentation

• Two to three years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of consumer collections laws and regulations
• Understanding of banking, lending, or consumer credit products
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Availability to work remotely in eligible Canadian provinces or territories
