About you Full membership of a recognised accounting body (e.g., CAI, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) Recent experience working in a finance-related role Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (experience with Sage 200 preferable) Great attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organisational skills Proactive, with a commercial mindset and problem-solving approach Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team What you'll do Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including profit analysis and balance sheet reconciliations Manage month-end activities such as journal postings, accruals, and prepayments Create detailed management reports for senior stakeholders and the Board Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, including cash flow and covenant monitoring Ensure compliance through preparation of VAT, regulatory, and statutory returns Support external audits with documentation and responses to queries Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, reporting, and data quality Mentor and support junior team members in finance operations For further information on this position, please apply via the link or contact Kevin Roberts at our office for a confidential discussion today.
