The Finance department is known for its professionalism and strategic influence, reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Finance, and offers ample opportunity for leadership and growth within a sizeable, respected organisation. About you Fully qualified accountant with membership of one of the recognised professional bodies (e.g., ICAI, ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, CPA) Minimum of two years' post-qualified experience in a large, complex organisation (minimum £25 million annual budget or 250 staff) Solid experience in management accounts preparation, budget development, and financial advising Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong communication skills to effectively influence senior and non-financial stakeholders What you'll do Lead the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Advise budget holders on financial controls, performance, and forecasts Develop and manage budgets at departmental and College level, supporting strategic financial planning Oversee financial reporting, including ad hoc and standard reports, to support managerial decision-making Line manage the College's Finance Business Partner and oversee key financial sections such as Accounts Receivable and Student Finance For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact Kevin Roberts for a confidential chat today.
