Remote Internal Auditor; Finance Focus

This position is 100% remote, offering a flexible working arrangement for candidates across South Africa. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance throughout the organization, with a particular emphasis on financial operations.

• Plan, execute, and report on financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Assess internal control systems to identify potential risks and control deficiencies.
• Develop audit programs and methodologies to effectively test financial processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIA, CISA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a relevant financial role.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk management principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and audit software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects concurrently.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and objectivity.
• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
