Support 401(k) administration remotely with Guidant Financial, using document review and Excel to help clients complete annual reporting. Work from home in select US states.
As a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist, you will learn plan administration, testing, and reporting through training and practical experience. You will review client documents, track progress, and explain year-end reporting requirements, including the annual Form 5500. The work supports entrepreneurs and small businesses nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain client information for annual retirement plan reporting
- Review submitted documents for completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile rollover and plan stock accounts using Excel
- Complete 401(k) testing and reporting through administration software
- Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings using filing software
- Experience with document review and transaction processing
- One to five years of adjacent financial operations experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Retirement plan operations experience preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and designated workspace preferred
