We're building a network of private equity experts to review our AI deal simulations. It's paid, remote contract work you can do next to your day job.
You fill in a 5-minute questionnaire, and we review every application. If it's a fit, we set up a 30-minute intro call and you join the network. When a deal in your sector comes in, we send it your way, and you can say yes or no every time.
On each project you review three things:
Then you walk us through what you found on a 30 to 60 minute call. Most projects take 3 to 8 hours over a week or two. You don't need any AI experience.
We pay from $150 an hour, depending on seniority, as an independent contractor. Hours depend on deal flow, so we can't promise a set number. The intro call is unpaid.
You're a fit if you've spent 2+ years on a PE deal team (buyout, growth, infrastructure or credit) at Associate through Principal level. You've also taken at least one deal from screening to Investment Committee. You can be on a deal team now or have moved on.
We never ask about your firm's deals or portfolio companies, and you sign an NDA before each project.
About PrinciplePrinciple gives PE deal teams a forward-looking view on every target: an AI simulation of the target's market that stress-tests the value creation plan before capital is committed.
We model how the target's competitors, regulators and customers react to your plan, then run your base, upside and downside cases against hundreds of possible futures, updated as the market moves. You see which cases hold up, and whether the plan can still deliver the return you underwrote.
We're headquartered in San Francisco, with representatives in New York. Our research team has five PhDs, including our CTO, who scaled Google's simulation of user behavior on You Tube, and an ex-CERN physicist. Our round was led by SMRK VC and SMOK VC, with the Ride Home AI Fund (Chris Messina, the inventor of the hashtag), the a16z and Bain Capital scout funds and Unpopular Ventures.
