• Manage and actively mitigate trading risks within defined risk parameters and limits.
• Analyze market data, price trends, and economic indicators to inform trading decisions.
• Collaborate with risk management, research, and operational teams to ensure effective trade execution and settlement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market regulations, compliance requirements, and trading best practices.
• Communicate market insights and trading performance to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in energy commodity trading, with a proven track record of profitable trading.
• Deep expertise in the physical and financial aspects of electricity, natural gas, and/or crude oil markets.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, hedging strategies, and risk management techniques.
• Proficiency with trading platforms, market data providers (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg), and analytical tools.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent decision-making abilities under pressure and a high tolerance for risk.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
