Our client is a bank. They seek a Senior Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements under IFRS and local accounting standards
- Generate financial reports and analysis for management, headquarters, treasury, and corporate teams
- Develop analytical and cost accounting reports to support business decisions
- Compile regulatory reports and ensure accurate reporting requirements are met
- Execute internal controls to support financial accuracy and compliance
- Provide P&L projections and financial insights to support planning activities
- Support budgeting processes and financial forecasting initiatives
- Assist with system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and automation projects
- Analyze tax‑related data and prepare supporting documentation for compliance needs
- 2-5 years of accounting experience from commercial banking
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Foreign bank experience is a plus
- Experience with bonds, derivatives, and monkey market instruments
- IFRS experience is a plus
- CPA preferred
