• Set up client accounts and ensure care placement fees are accurately billed to the appropriate funding sources.
• Identify and resolve funding or billing discrepancies, working closely with Home Managers to ensure all income is correctly recorded and recovered.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records, following financial controls and relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Monitor financial processes and controls to help protect the organisation’s financial interests and maintain accurate accounts.
• Manage and resolve customer account queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner, providing clear explanations regarding balances, invoices, charges and payments.
• Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Income and Care Finance teams, to resolve issues quickly and maintain a high standard of service.

• Experience of working to deadlines, managing priorities and handling a busy workload.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• A good working knowledge of financial regulations, legislation and current financial practices.
• Confidence working with financial information and maintaining accurate records.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
