Lead the CFO team behind 50+ agencies and ecommerce brands.

AgenCFO builds and runs the full finance function for agencies and ecommerce brands doing $1M to $50M in revenue. We have worked with 50+ businesses since 2023 and manage just under $200M in client revenue. We are hiring a leader for our CFO team and to oversee all client delivery.

You're a financial leader who gets to enforce the standard for every client and the CFOs who serve them.

You help scale the system

Our dashboards, templates and operating system are in place. You'll own them and improve the SOPs that make them work at scale.

We bring the clients

You make sure our CFOs get every client the results they signed up for.

We use AI across our models, reporting and processes. You help make it better.

The role

What you'll do

Own the quality of delivery across every client, agencies and ecommerce
Lead the CFO & bookkeeping team with regular reviews, coaching and clear standards
Hire and train new CFOs and bookkeepers from first interview to a full client load
Be the go-to person when something is new or hard, from cash crises with clients, to banking issues, to M&A and funding support
Cover clients when a CFO is out, and carry a small client load yourself at the start
Keep every client on our service standard and their financial goals on track
Standardize how we work and turn every one-off fix into an SOP the team can reuse

What you won't do

Sales or chasing new clients (we bring them in and onboard them)
Financial modelling, bookkeeping or tax prep (you make sure the quality is high)

What you bring Experience

7+ years in finance, with at least 3 years leading a finance team or working as a (fractional) CFO
Demonstrated management experience (of a remote team)
You have run a full finance function: books, reporting, cash, AR/AP and tax coordination
You have hired and trained finance people yourself
Strong financial modelling, with a sharp eye for errors
Solid with Xero and Quick Books
You use AI in your daily work and want to use more
Fluent English, able to cover a good share of European and US hours
