Subsidy Officer

IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced Housing Benefit Subsidy Officer for our client in Warrington, WA1.

This contract is for a minimum of 3 months offers some remote working for the right candidate.

You will support the preparation and submission of Housing Benefit subsidy claims, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) requirements.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and reconcile Housing Benefit subsidy claims
• Check and analyse data, identifying and resolving errors
• Work closely with the Benefits Team to ensure correct processing of claims
• Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
• Ensure compliance with DWP guidance and legislation

Requirements for the role:

• Previous experience in Housing Benefit Subsidy (essential)
• A standard DBS Check is required
• Good knowledge of DWP subsidy rules
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Confident using Excel and benefits systems
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• Specific working hours to be confirmed at interview stage.
• 18.24 per hour.
• Weekly pay whilst through the agency!
