Remote Political Affairs Internship

Location: Morden

Engage in global advocacy with The Borgen Project as a remote Political Affairs Intern. This unpaid, 12-week internship focuses on poverty in U.S., Canadian, and U.K. foreign policy.

The part-time internship requires a commitment of 12 hours per week. Tasks include leading public outreach, meeting government officials, and representing The Borgen Project at key events. You'll assist in fundraising, mobilize individuals for legislation support, and communicate to promote key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead outreach efforts in your state or district

• Meet with Congress members and government officials

• Represent The Borgen Project at events

• Create and manage personal fundraising campaigns

• Mobilize support for poverty-reduction legislation

Requirements:

• Passion for combating poverty and injustice

• No prior experience needed

• Open to all backgrounds and GPAs

• Commitment to 12 hours per week

• College credit available for participation
