This position requires strong leadership and community consultation skills, with an emphasis on Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Doing. You will collaborate with other service providers, develop educational materials, and contribute to the understanding of harm reduction's role in HIV and AIDS responses. This impactful role allows you to make a difference across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare reports and collaborate on evaluations
• Develop asset maps for harm reduction resources
• Coordinate harm reduction workshops and trainings
• Actively participate in community meetings
• Create databases for tracking program delivery
Requirements:
• Education or experience in a relevant field
• Understanding of Indigenous practices and harm reduction
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle planning and administrative tasks
• Experience working with diverse Indigenous communities
Utilize your expertise in harm reduction and Indigenous knowledge to support CAAN’s mission.
