We are seeking a dedicated Licensing and Bylaw Enforcement Officer for one permanent and up to four temporary full-time positions. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, investigating bylaw violations, and educating property owners about community standards. This role requires effective communication, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities to ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections for legislative compliance
• Investigate bylaw violations and issue warnings
• Prepare reports and make court appearances
• Educate residents on by-law requirements
• Maintain electronic and hard copy records
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and a relevant post-secondary certificate
• Minimum of two years related experience
• Investigative and evidence-collection skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence
