Position: Government Relations Specialist Hybrid Role
Advance your career with OREA as a Government Relations Specialist in the Golden Horseshoe Region. Focus on advocacy initiatives and foster relationships at the municipal and provincial levels.

This full-time position reports to the Manager of Regional Government Relations and is crucial for supporting the legislative and policy priorities of real estate Member Boards.

Your role will involve advocacy campaign development, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring local government issues that impact REALTORS. Candidates living in or near the Golden Horseshoe Region are encouraged to apply, as frequent travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute advocacy campaigns for OREA

• Build relationships with municipal and provincial officials

• Organize REALTOR engagement events and round tables

• Monitor local government issues affecting REALTORS

• Assist Member Boards in achieving their advocacy goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 3 to 5 years in government relations or advocacy

• Familiarity with legislative processes

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle access

• Experience in grassroots organization preferred
