About the role
Join the Civil Litigation team at the Attorney General’s Chambers as Legal Practitioner – Employment and undertake a varied caseload with a particular focus on employment and equality matters. You will represent Government Departments, Statutory Boards and Offices before the Employment and Equality Tribunal, provide practical legal advice and work alongside experienced colleagues across a broad range of civil litigation matters.
This position attracts a 3% market rating and offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in employment and equality law while working on a diverse range of cases within a professional legal environment.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent the government in civil litigation matters, particularly employment and equality disputes, before the Employment and Equality Tribunal.
Provide practical legal advice to various government departments and statutory bodies.
Collaborate with experienced colleagues in a diverse civil litigation portfolio.
