Following the recent Local Government Reorganisation for Oxfordshire announcement this is an exciting time to join theLaw, Governance and Strategy Directorate as we work towards the formation of a new unitary authority for Greater Oxford.

We are looking for an experienced,proactive and confident lawyer who candemonstratetheyhave the ability todeliver at pace, whilst also ensuring the Council’s strategic aims andobjectivesare met.
As a qualified lawyer you will have in-depth knowledge and experience to undertake a range of work within the Litigation and Regulatory Team in respect of Planning Law, policy and enforcement. You will be able to provide complex legal and procedural advice to elected members,agentsand other internal and external stakeholders to support the Council in achieving its ambitions.
