About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Environmental Protection Team. We are looking to recruit an Environmental Protection Officer. You would be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations. You will be responsible your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.
The role will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire. A good, overall standard of education to A level or equivalent standard. Experience of working in an environmental health or similar regulatory role is desirable. Investigation of complaints of statutory nuisance, consultation on planning applications for noise, air quality and contaminated land, Environmental Permitting inspections, licensing consultations for Environmental Protection.
