About the Role

You will play a vital role in researching, analyzing, and shaping agricultural policies that promote sustainability, economic viability, and food security. This role involves working closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international organizations to provide expert guidance and recommendations. Key Responsibilities- Analyze current and proposed agricultural policies, assessing their potential impact on various stakeholders.
- Conduct research on agricultural trends, market dynamics, and global food security issues.
- Develop policy recommendations and position papers for government bodies and industry associations.
- Facilitate discussions and build consensus among diverse groups on complex agricultural policy issues.
- Monitor international agricultural trade agreements and their implications for local farmers.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for policymakers and the public.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in agricultural policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international agricultural policies and regulations.
- Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in policy writing and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
