Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

Overview

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role at Empower Behavioral Health (EBH). EBH provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to learners with autism and other developmental disabilities, with a mission to empower families and maximize learners' potential.

• Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients and families
• Supervise implementation of treatment to ensure satisfactory protocol execution
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires
• Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs for patients
• Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessments
• Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets
• Develop and write initial treatment plans and update plans per best practice and insurance guidelines
• Implement and supervise data collection systems
• Provide behavioral support for patients in an interdisciplinary treatment setting
• Evaluate and report patient progress toward treatment goals and oversee transition and discharge planning
• Conduct individual parent/caregiver trainings monthly at minimum and group trainings as needed
• Attend department and interdisciplinary staff meetings
• Maintain BCBA certification by obtaining continuing education in BACB-required categories
• Obtain and maintain state licensure
• Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
• Board certification and in good standing as a BCBA
• Current BCBA licensure in Texas (or ability to obtain and maintain)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
• Competencies:

• Ability to move or transport up to 50 lbs; ability to participate in 6–8 hour sessions; respond quickly to manage behaviors; kneeling/kneeling and transitions as needed

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
• BCBA certification in good standing
• Must obtain and maintain current BCBA licensure in Texas

• Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities

• Must be able to move or transport up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to participate in 6–8 hour sessions and respond to behavioral incidents
• Must be able to be seated on the floor when needed and transition quickly to respond to aggression/severe behavior
• Must be able to perform physical management as required

$80,000 - $90,000 annually
