Pay: Starting salary of $70,000 for recent grads!

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work with a dynamic clinical care team to identify client needs, work through barriers, and develop proactive strategies. You will provide mental health services addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school problems, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
The Clinician role is hybrid, with in-office days at our outpatient clinic in Taunton for in-person sessions, and telehealth sessions during work-from-home days.
Some of your critical responsibilities include:
- Maintaining an active billable caseload of approximately 30 hours per week, including individual, couples, family, and group sessions.
- Developing individualized action plans focused on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring symptoms.
- Attending weekly clinical supervision, group supervision, and staff meetings.
- Serving as part of the integrated services care team to enhance client experiences through a whole-person health approach.
- Providing crisis intervention services, brief supportive psychotherapy, and timely assessments to triage and refer clients based on acuity.
Qualifications:
- Must have a 60-credit Master's Degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field, including an internship.
- Licensed candidates (LMHC, LICSW, LADCI) must hold an active license in MA.
- Unlicensed candidates must be eligible for licensure within the timeline set for each licensure track.
- At least one year of experience working with clients with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
- Experience working with diverse populations and various diagnoses.
- Experience with safety/risk assessment skills for high-risk populations.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction philosophies.
- Computer skills to learn electronic medical record systems.
Note: Candidates with some experience and/or a professional license may start at a higher salary.
