Account Executive

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The mission of the Account Executive is to drive Health Mark’s growth by acquiring new healthcare clients. This individual will help achieve company revenue goals through proactive outreach, discovery, and closing activities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Build and execute a robust pipeline of new client opportunities.
- Focus exclusively on selling into small healthcare practices (0–10 provider groups) where Health Mark’s solutions deliver the greatest value and efficiency.
- Manage full-cycle sales activity, including discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing.
- Handle objections and effectively move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Conduct research and discovery to prepare for prospect conversations and sales presentations.
- Accurately track and report activity, progress, and outcomes within the CRM.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of Health Mark’s solutions to prospective clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and referral partners.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative and a hunter mentality.
- Excellent collaboration instincts and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive outcomes.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or B2B environments.
- Proven track record of success selling in a high-velocity, short sales cycle environment.
- Previous experience selling to healthcare practitioners or related service organizations.
- Familiarity with clinic or medical group environments.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT or digital health technology (preferred, not required).
